Preface

The Prospectus is supposed to be the foundation and the mainstay of University life and Culture. If ever a book guides a bewildering student and transforms him to belong to university community and continues to be their main source of information that must be the prospectus. The impact of prospectus is not confined to students, it is in many ways guides the teachers, the non-teaching staff members, the admission officer, the finance directors etc. The prospectus is supposed to penetrate and to reflect thought and life-styles of people belonging to a university.

The prospectus contains all necessary information for the student willing to get admission and study at the Khwaja Yunus Ali University for the academic year 2017-2018 comprising Summer and Fall Semester. Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) is a private university running and offering honours and Masters programs in human science, Biomedical Science, Science and Engineering, Business Studies, and Law faculties.
Khwaja Yunus Ali University is registered under private university act 2010. It is managed by a Board of Trustees headed by Mr. Mohammad Yusuf. It is a non-profit venture for developing human resources specially for the underprivilege section of the society. All revenues and funds generated are used for educational purpose and for improvements of academic standards.

The promoters of Khwaja Yunus Ali University are not entitled to receive any monetary benefit either in cash or in kind like, salary, bonus etc. The total time, funds, donations and services spent on Khwaja Yunus Ali University by the members are completely philanthropic.
The Board of Trustees act as the custodian of the University, define standards and make strategies for further improvement and development in addition with the privileges and responsibilities stipulated in clause 16 of private university Act 2010.

Khwaja Yunus Ali University have full-time faculty at the University Campus. Some adjunct faculty are also hired from other universities. Students have residential hall with sufficient accommodation.  They are provided with partially furnished accommodation and have access to free health care facilities.
